Martha Bassett has fronted several bands in North Carolina performing swing, bossa nova, and Americana music. She hosts The Martha Bassett Show, a live musical variety show that occurs twice a month at the Reeves Theater in Elkin, NC. The show, which will begin its 8th season in 2025, features national, regional, and local artists, and is currently broadcast on public radio throughout much of the mid-south United States.
